Most companies sell you a rat treatment or a mouse treatment, and then sell you the other one weeks later. We treat rodents as a single service because the work is the same work: find how they are getting in, remove what is already inside, and close the building up so the next one cannot follow.

Traps go on the routes rodents actually run, based on what the inspection found, not on guesswork. We check and refresh them on every follow-up.
Secured Bait Stations
Bait goes in secured stations, placed where the evidence says they will do the most good.
Every Entry Point Sealed
A mouse fits through a quarter inch and a rat needs about half. Exclusion work closes the gaps, and damaged vents can be repaired as part of the job.
Follow-Up Checks
We come back to check traps and bait, inspect the exclusion work, and adjust anything that needs it.

HOW IT WORKS
How the Rodent Service Runs
Four stages, each with a job, and the pace follows the evidence rather than a set timeline.
Step 1: Inspection and Initial Control
A thorough inspection inside and out. If there is activity, we set traps, place bait stations and seal entry points on the first visit.
Step 2: Trap and Exclusion Check
Every trap and bait station checked and refreshed, the exclusion work inspected, and anything adjusted that needs it.
Step 3: Activity Monitoring
Tracking powder and monitored bait show whether anything is still moving, so progress is measured rather than assumed.
Step 4: Resolution Check
No activity and the service is complete. Activity still showing and we keep going with targeted control until it stops.
The Service Ends When the Evidence Says So
Rodent behavior varies from house to house, so the process adapts to what we find. The service is complete when there are no signs of rodents and the traps are clear.

IDENTIFICATION
Telling a Rat Problem from a Mouse Problem
You do not need to know which one you have before you call, but it helps to know what you are looking at.
Mice
- Droppings the size of a grain of rice, scattered widely
- Scratching inside walls and ceilings, usually at night
- Shredded insulation, paper or fabric gathered into a nest
- Grease marks along baseboards where they run the same route
- Gets in through a gap about the width of a pencil
Rats
- Droppings the size of a raisin, in fewer, more concentrated spots
- Gnaw damage on wood, wiring and plastic
- Burrows near the foundation, under decking or in compost
- Runways worn through grass or crawlspace dirt
- Needs a gap of about half an inch, and will chew one wider
Rat gnawing is the one to take seriously fast. Chewed wiring in a wall cavity is a fire risk, and it is one of the ways a rodent problem turns into an insurance claim. If you see gnaw marks on wire sheathing, call today rather than next week.

How Do I Get Someone Out?
Call 503-730-7537 or request an inspection online. Tell us what you are hearing or seeing and where in the house, so the technician arrives knowing where to start.
Do I Have to Leave the House During Treatment?
No. The rodent service is inspection, traps, bait stations and sealing entry points, and none of that asks you to leave.
Is It Safe with Pets and Kids?
Bait goes in secured stations, and traps are placed along the routes rodents run. Tell us about pets and children when you book so placement accounts for them.
Will One Visit Be Enough?
Usually not, and a service that promises one visit is guessing. The first visit inspects and starts control, then we check traps and exclusion, monitor activity, and finish with a resolution check. The service ends when there are no signs of rodents and the traps are clear.
Do You Repair the Damage They Caused?
We seal the entry points, and damaged vents can be repaired as part of the job. Structural repair and rewiring are a contractor’s work, and we will tell you plainly if that is what you are looking at.
What About Moles, Gophers or Voles?
We do not treat moles, gophers or voles. They are a different animal and a different trade, and we would rather say so than sell you something that will not work.
